Jack Meyer has written an entertaining and thought provoking novel that keeps you guessing. Unlike many in the who-done-it genre this one doesn't make those in law enforcement look foolish or incompetent. Rather, the police and FBI are depicted as both capable and focused on their jobs. The civilian characters, while they are heroic, are portrayed realistically. The story moves at a good pace and I thoroughly enjoyed the book.

Just a few pages and I was hooked.

Gregg A.: Looking forward to the next book.

Scary to think how the votes of the people could be manipulated. Current events aside, our systems are only as good as the people who build them. Well written and I look forward to the next one.Gregg A.: Looking forward to the next book.

Common sense approach to what the election fraud problem becomes when technology replaces traditional methods of voting. Lots of credit given to numerous "helpers". Authors voice will great stronger as he continues writing.

Jack Meyer's book draws you in and you won't want to put it down.  The story line and characters are convincing.  The book is a scenario dealing with election fraud. There are criminals and there are victims of criminals. Things they did made me uncomfortable and want to see them caught. The events of the story will take you in many directions. You will find yourself re-evaluating what you thought you knew. Its a story but also a possibility. You will enjoy having read this book!

Jack Meyer's meticulous attention to detail and well-developed characters make the story feel incredibly authentic. The pacing is expertly crafted, seamlessly blending action and introspection. Beyond the gripping narrative, the book carries an important message about the fragility of democracy. This thought-provoking masterpiece is a must-read for fans of the genre, leaving you questioning the power of individual actions and the responsibility we all bear as citizens.

"Riveting! Jack Meyer's compelling, page-turning tale of collusion and intrigue was mesmerizing in the vein of David Baldacci and John Grisham. Highly recommended!”

“The book grabbed me from the beginning. Meyer combines action and suspense with a creative yet viable premise that left me wondering, ‘could this really happen?’  I’m looking forward to the next book in the Wayward Patriot Series!”

Todd Hopkins

“Meyer’s first novel is a page-turning thriller with lots of twists and turns that will have you guessing until the very end. His character development is solid. He provides a balanced view on a divisive topic.”

This is such a timely book, considering the frustration many people have on both sides of the political aisle. Jack has done a wonderful job of leaving the politics out of the process of voting and keeping it as a, “What if?” read. There are lots of characters who might be bad actors. So, sit back, relax, and keep guessing until the end.

A spellbinding novel for our world today.  Though fiction, it is thought-provoking, understanding election fraud can be a real possibility in this time of advanced technology and unrest in our country.

“Wayward Patriot: Preserving the Vote is both entertaining and thought provoking! The premise is fascinating and the way it is written, it is hard to put down. It’s exciting to consider a perfect election system but a cold splash in the face to be reminded that no system is perfect.”

Mick Hartley

“Wayward Patriot: Preserving the Vote is a story that could be the behind-the-scenes account of something that is emerging from some current headlines about tampering with our elections…[it] keeps readers attention from one chapter to the next…there is a genuine twist at the end that brings it all to a startling conclusion.”

Dennis Jamison

“The author employs countless twists-and-turns that keep his readers wondering what’s going to happen next…The book is immensely entertaining…”

The story caught my attention immediately and I didn't want to stop reading! There hasn't been a lull or a boring page. I can feel Brad's fear and am amazed at the things "he" thought of to stay under the radar while he was trying to figure things out.

I am liking it. About half way through.   I really like the short chapters, they fit my reading style.

It is an exciting and intriguing roller coaster ride following the experience of people, no different than me, who have found themselves in over their heads. However, you’re never really sure who the bad guys are until the very end. It is well written and thought provoking, considering some real and terrifying possibilities.”
